Yugyokudo's Hasamiyaki Kyuusu teapots and Teacups. Hasamiyaki (from Hasami village Nagasaki Prefecture) first appeared about 400 years ago and has a similar history as that of Aritayaki. It is known for it's high quality porcelain and "soft touch" colorful handpainted designs. The Japanese government has designated Hasamiyaki (Hasami ceramic ware) as traditional works of art.
Yugyokudo products are usually in stock and ship within 24 hours of placing your order, however if the items are not available we will have them made at the kiln. It takes about 10 to 20 days to make them, so please consider this when placing your order.
