Yugyokudo Pottery Shop has been a family busniess for over 76 years. Owner Mr. Shinichiro Morinaga, takes pride in selling the finest pottery (Aritayaki Porcelain) available in the world. His shop provides pieces for "Kankonsosai" (Special Japanese Ceremonial Occasions such as Weddings, Funerals, Special Promotional Gifts, Celebrations and Special Events), "Ryokan" (Expensive 5 star Japanese Hotels and Restaurants) and "Kappou" (Gourmet Restaurants whose elite patrons include Famous Television and Movie Star Personalities and High Government Officials). Some of his Pottery is designed by "Ningen Kokuho" (Living National Treasures of Japan), an honorary position designated by the Emperor on behalf of the "Nihon Geijustu Kaiin" (The Japanese Agency for Culture Affairs).
