Instructions: (How to Brew). Just by putting Yamasan Kyoto Uji Organic Matcha Powder in a cup and pouring hot water, you can easily enjoy an Authentic Uji Matcha anytime.
Hot Matcha: Put one and a half spoonfuls of Yamasan Kyoto Uji Organic Matcha Powder (about 2 grams) in a cup. Pour 70ml of hot water (80 degrees C) into the cup. *Whisk to make a Fine-Foamy Matcha. (Please note that using a “whisk” is not necessary, but is recommended for making matcha with a Smooth Froth).
Iced Matcha: Put about 2 spoonfuls of Yamasan Kyoto Uji Organic Matcha Powder (about 2.5 grams) in a cup. Pour 90ml warm water into the cup. Add several ice cubes and stir gently until cold. For Iced Matcha Latte use Milk instead of water.
Bottle: Put two spoonfuls (Adjust to bottle size and taste preference) of matcha into a travel flask (thermos) and add Hot or Cold water (about 200ml). Close the flask and shake until well mixed and a fine foam appears. Enjoy!
Cooking: Add Yamasan Kyoto Uji Organic Matcha Powder to your favorite recipes. Mild and Rich flavor is perfect for cuisine and sweets. You can easily enjoy it by mixing it with milk or sprinkling it on yogurt or ice cream.
Professional Whisked Matcha:
1. Pour hot water into the tea utensil, add the chasen and shake to warm the tea utensil and chasen. Drain the hot water and drain the tea utensils and whisk.
2. Place a tea strainer on the teapot and pour in 2 teaspoons of matcha (1 teaspoon is also acceptable).
3. Add a small amount of hot water at about 80°C and mix with a matcha tea chasen (whisk).
4. Add hot water of about 80℃ to about 1/3 of the tea utensil (70~80cc) and mix by moving the chasen back and forth quickly. Mix for 30 to 60 seconds, and when fine bubbles form, it's done.
