How to pay Tariff and Customs fees for Packages from Japan to the US
General
If shipped by International Postal Service (e.g., Japan Post):
Regardless of which carrier delivers your parcel in the U.S., Japanese Green Tea Shops will pay all tariffs, custom fees and delivery fees, etc. (DDP - Delivery Duty Paid). U.S. customers will not have to pay any additional fees whatsoever to receive your parcel.
How it Works:
Payment: Japanese Green Tea Shops prepares a shipping label and pre-pays all tariffs, custom and delivery fees.
Package Processing: When your package from Japan arrives in the U.S., it will be processed by U.S. Customs.
Delivery: Once U.S. Customs approves the parcel, USPS will deliver your package.
