THIS DOES NOT CHANGE THE PRICE FOR THE SHIPPING FEE. You will see the DISCOUNT in your shopping cart, but you will still have to choose and pay for a shipping option at CHECKOUT. The discount you received on the products in your shopping cart will cover most or all of the shipping fee, especially for larger orders. This will give you the best TOTAL PRICE: (Product + Shipping).
The TOTAL PRICE is the cost to have your order delivered to your doorstep. While the shipping fee may be more than the cost of your products, it is because we have the lowest product prices anywhere even before our discount. We do not charge two or three times more for our products and offer "FLAT RATE" or "FREE SHIPPING" (as it would be based on the highest country's shipping rates resulting in a higher TOTAL PRICE for most of our customers).
Shipping fees are based on weight and there is a MINIMUM FEE for the first several hundred grams. If you only order a few items, you'll pay the highest base price. The more products you order, the more you will save. We recommend ordering at least 7-10 items to get the best TOTAL PRICE. (Most countries can get discounted "AIRMAIL - SMALL PACKET" for orders with a total weight under 2,000 grams).
PLEASE NOTE: When choosing items, please consider the weight of the products. Instant coffee jars, liquid creamer and large boxes of instant "stick" coffee/tea are especially heavy and will result in higher shipping fees.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
EMS (Express Mail Service): Provides a registered tracking number to track your shipment online. 100% Insured. (Average Delivery: Worldwide in 3 to 10 days).
AIRMAIL: This option provides Registered Tracking Service to track your shipment online. (Average Delivery: Worldwide in 7-14 days).
SMALL PACKET - AIRMAIL: This option provides Registered Tracking Service to track your shipment online. Available to limited countries for parcels with a total weight under 2,000 grams. This is a service where international mail is handled as SURFACE mail in both Japan and the destination country and as AIRMAIL between the two countries. The service is much faster than SURFACE mail while the cost is lower than AIRMAIL. (Average Delivery: Worldwide in 2-3 Weeks).
SURFACE: Parcels are sent by surface (ship). While delivery takes longer, the rates are reasonable. (Recommended for large orders with a weight over 2,000 grams). This option provides a Registered Tracking Number which shows departure from Japan, ("Dispatch from outward office of exchange") and is not updated until a few days before final delivery is made in your country. The service is slow but very dependable. Japan Post advises 1-3 Months for delivery. (Average Delivery: Worldwide in 2-3 months).
